Happy Saturday, everyone! Today, I would like to share another of my outfit worn during my trip to Cebu. The look is styled around a fern green peplum top, a piece that was acquired in KL last year. I played around with different shades of green for this look, adding on an apple green hat and seashell necklace/bracelet for a more resort feel. I feel the resulting look exudes a safari feel too, what do you think?
Talking about peplum design, you would probably notice that this is very much in trend at the moment. This is a good style if you would like to add more curves to your body and the peplum detailing also has the advantage of camouflaging any tummy bulges developed during the festive season. It is now a very good time to stock up this item if you like it as you can see them in virtually every boutique now.
There are so many ways to pair a peplum top and here’s a few ideas off the top of my head :-
- With shorts for a casual and laid back look
- With skinny jeans or capris, your choice will depend on the length of your peplum top
- With pencil skirt for work occasions when you can afford to look a little more feminine
- With a flared skirt for a fun and feminine look
Hope you find this useful and I will attempt a different way of styling the peplum top and share later. Thanks for stopping by and reading!
