Dear friends, hope you had a restful weekend!  Sharing with you today some photos taken when we were traveling from Rome to Positano, which is located along the lovely Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy.  To reach there, we boarded the train from Roma Termini to Salerno, followed by a picturesque ferry ride to positano.

Reached Salerno,a lovely port town, after a 3hr train ride

Waiting for the ferry to bring us from Salerno to Positano, the ride is 1.5 hrs, expecting some breath-taking sights along the way

On the way, we saw the town of Amalfi, which is similar to Positano in appearance but couldn’t be more different in other ways

We are really wondering about the safety of residents who reside in the houses above the gaping depression in the cliff face

Positano beckoning to us from a distance, we are near!

Trying to find our villa located on the cliff, saw the lovely signages though not really helping
